Hello, from Dubai.
TESOL ARABIA Conference 2010 in Dubai is one of the best conferences I've ever attended. The speakers are well-known in the TESOL field, Jeremy Harmer, David Nunan, Michael McCarthy, just to name a few. The conference venue is Zayed University, located in the suburb of Dubai city. The place is new and fantastically designed, beautiful for an academic conference.


I love Dubai now, a charming city in the desert, a melting pot of people coming from different backgrounds, Indian, Iranian, Phillipinos, Emirati, the Westerners, including the Thais. This is the place where the world's richest and labors of the world are united. There are many things I've learned for these few days. Maybe I should write something about Dubai in this blog after arriving home.
